How Fox Yawn Began
​​​A passionate and creative freelance graphic designer with over four years of experience creating custom pitch decks in the entertainment industry, I started Fox Yawn after making pitch decks for my own projects and realizing there was a gap in the market. I saw friends frustrated with decks made by their producer's assistants, who -- while talented -- didn't give their pitch decks the same thought and attention to detail a fellow writer might. As a screenwriter myself, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities of pitching projects. This business was born out of my love for storytelling and design, and my desire to provide personalized support to fellow writers and creators looking to make an impact in their pitches.
Design Values
Listen. No one knows your project better than you. So far, it's probably mostly been living in your head! I want to hear all about it so I can translate it to color, fonts, images, and graphics.
Ask. I am a problem-solver and will offer pitches, but if there are ever things I need clarified, I am not afraid to ask. I'm big on staying on the same page!
Evolve. I always tell my clients, "no's are good!" As I send aesthetic pitches and visuals, knowing what isn't working for you is just as important as what is.
All the Way. Once I'm on your team, I'm here to see it through to the end! Whether your project is being pitched next week or gets a second wind and is pitched next year and needs adjustments, I am here for you and will be here to help every step of the way.
